Some of this was recreated on this year's edition of "The Sea for All". A thirty-one boats from the 1950s and 1960s, which show highlights in Norwegian boat history and boat production, were gathered in a separate hall. Boaters with a few years at the back remember both Ancas and Fjord, Ship Plastics and Herwa, Selco and not least Bror With's famous dinghies.
Great vintage boats
Great copies of all these boats shone on this year's edition of "The Sea for All". The exhibition has come about through a collaboration with the Vest-Agder Museum, Oslofjord Museum and private individuals as owners of these rare copies.
- Have you looked at the husband, says an over-enthusiastic Geir Schau, best known as radio host at Morgenklubben on Radio Norge. He is a boatman on his neck and normally enjoys more modern boats from his summer house in Frogn, but he was impressed by the veterans in hall E at Lillestrøm.
- Look at this, then. Little can match the go-pieces from the 50s and 60s, he chuckles.
